McCaffery scores go-ahead touchdown with 1:07 left
The 49ers came from behind to beat the Packers and advance to the NFC Championship Game.
Down four points to the Packers at home and in the driving rain, Brock Purdy and the 49ers drove 69 yards to score a go-ahead touchdown with 67 seconds remaining to advance to the NFC Championship Game with a 24-21 win.
Christian McCaffrey punched the ball in from 6 yards out on third-and-1 to give the 49ers their first lead of the fourth quarter with just over a minute left. Brandon Aiyuk made a key third-down catch to keep the drive alive.
Dre Greenlaw sealed the win with his second interception of the game on the Packers’ ensuing drive.
The 49ers (13-5) are one step from a Super Bowl berth for the third straight season and will face the winner of Sunday’s divisional game between Tampa Bay (10-8) and Detroit (12-5) next weekend for the right to advance to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11.
