Favorite workout? “Spinning.”
Can’t-live-without fitness fashion item? “My Supermodel tank top looks great thrown over any sports bra and has one of my favorite graphics of all time.”
What made you fall in love with exercise? “The way I would feel after a workout! Staying fit gives me energy, clears my mind, and allows me to eat the food I love without regret.”
What’s a wellness trend you wish you could make happen? “I wish [that] instead of going out to the club on Friday or Saturday nights, everyone would go to workout classes instead. These classes would have the same energy, music, and lights as a nightclub would. It would be so fun and give everyone an opportunity to sweat over the weekend!”

Favorite workout? “Barre! Lately I cannot get enough of Flybarre. I love the energy and it helps sculpt my body in ways I didn’t know possible.”
How do make your workout clothes “work” outside the gym? “It’s all about finding pieces that transition easily. i find the transition to be easiest with a stylish pair of sneakers (or
sneaker wedges), a great draped or cropped jacket or even a baseball hat. it’s surprising how well athletic apparel can make for an on-trend look when paired properly and well-balanced.”
What’s the one fitness item you cannot live without? “It’s a tie [between] an amazing pair of printed leggings and a fun pair of sneakers. I also never leave home without my bkr bottle!”

What’s an essential item that can transform an outfit from gym to street? “The Adidas Stella Sport trainers. Wear them to the gym and then slip them on with a pair of skinny jeans, t-shirt, and denim jacket like I do and you’re set! Also, the new Olympia Black leggings with the ruching at the knee. Great with trainers and a shirt and jacket. Ive never had so many comments on these tights!”
Why should women embrace the athleisure lifestyle? “It’s just simple. You wear activewear and then wear sports-inspired pieces in your normal day-to-day life [and] then you naturally want to stay healthy and fit. It’s such a motivator.”
@BaseBodyBabes
gear, plus they would really come in handy on our deadlift days, when we need to protect our shins from the barbell!” says Felicia.
How do make your workout clothes “work” outside the gym?: “We have a lot of monochrome pieces that we can mix and match. We live in black compression tights, plain and printed crop tops (often Nike or The Upside) and then throw on an oversized casual singlet or tee from luxe brands like Bassike, Jac & Jack and T by Alexander Wang to create a more stylish, casual street style look. We love a good mesh piece (this is First Base has an incredible selection) to take us from day to night and an amazing pair of structured heels can really help create a great sports luxe look,” says Felicia.
Instagram: @BaseBodyBabes
Diana and Felicia are two sister personal trainers from Sydney who’ve quietly gained a huge Instagram and blog following by posting photos of their training, workout selfies, healthy diet, and pre- and post-workout clothes—it doesn’t hurt that they’re drop dead gorgeous either. Favorite workout? “We love a great squat session. Our training involves a combination of strength and circuit days with weights and we enjoy doing both, but our strength days are our favourite. We love feeling strong and fit, it’s very empowering!” Diana says.
Whats a fitness trend you wish you could make happen? “Sporty knee high socks. We think they look fun teamed with cool workout
gear, plus they would really come in handy on our deadlift days, when we need to protect our shins from the barbell!” says Felicia.

I love to keep my body guessing with what’s coming next and I love to have fun whilst I workout, hence all of the gymnastics and spending most of my time upside-down!”
What’s your top athleisure outfit staple? “My Nike trainers. I’ve got such a bad shopping addiction when it comes to Nike trainers—they’re just all so pretty and I love that I can wear them in the gym, but then also with jeans and a leather jacket.”
Why should women embrace the athleisure lifestyle? “It’s comfortable and 100 percent motivates you to show off your cool clothes. Not only that, it actually makes your day a whole lot easier [because] you don’t need to wander around with an extra bag of clothes to change into after your yoga session, you can just head straight out to meet friends for lunch.”

shirt, a cape, and either my Nike wedge sneakers or a pair of pumps.”

How do make your workout clothes “work” outside the gym? “Styling. Mixing fashion items that fit well with sportswear. A great leather jacket (I’m an All Saints fan from this perspective) and a slightly more ‘fashion’ hoodie, layered on top of your gym look transforms it from workout to working.”

How do you stay fit? “I’m a yoga teacher so I spend a lot of time bending, twisting and stretching! However, I do like to mix my workouts up so I will do a mix of yoga Bikram or Vinyasa, running, reformer Pilates, and a weight session thrown in somewhere.”
What made you decide to start your own active wear label? “”I always wanted to work for myself and be my own boss! After starting yoga, I found it really hard to find yoga/activewear that was a bit more fashion forward and fun! Even when doing physical activity, I wanted to express who I was and didn’t want to be boring and wear black all the time. So that’s when TULLY LOU was created.”
