Janet Jackson Shares Rare Photo With Her Niece Paris Jackson: “So Good Catching Up”

Paris Fashion Week led to a family reunion for the Jackson family. On Oct. 7, legendary singer Janet Jackson shared a photo of her and her niece Paris Jackson spending time together at the event on Instagram. “So good catching up w/ my beautiful niece @parisjackson 💖💖💖,” she captioned a snap of the two of them sitting on a couch. In the photo, Janet is all smiles, while her 24-year-old niece sits beside her wearing large sunglasses and a slipdress. Paris responded to her aunt’s post with a simple black-heart emoji. The reunion marks one of the first times the aunt and niece have been seen together publicly since Paris’s father, singer Michael Jackson, died in 2009. Since then, Janet and Paris have dealt with rumors about their relationship, which the 24-year-old previously addressed on Twitter in 2018. “Janet and i haven’t argued in over 6 years, stop with these stupid rumors. i have nothing but love for my family and they all know it. f*ck off,” she tweeted at the time.During a January interview with Access, the up-and-coming singer spoke about the possibility of collaborating with Janet in the future. When asked if she had ever thought about releasing a song with her aunt, Paris said, “We haven’t talked about it, but, like, I’m not opposed to it.” She added, “I love collaborating with all kinds of artists . . . I’m open to everything.”
