Kanye West ‘s Yeezy Slides Launched

March 2022’s adidas Yeezy Slide Lineup: New ‘Onyx’ Colourway and ‘Pure’ Restock

ADD TO CAL

The artist formerly known as Kanye West may not care much for NFTs, but he does love a good Yeezy Slide – and his Yeezy line with adidas has two desirable options coming our way this March. The first of these is a brand-new ‘Onyx’ colourway, the second is the ‘Pure’, a fan favourite that’s releasing for the sixth(!) time.

Yeezy Slides follow a simple formula: minimal and monochromatic in colour, maximalist in build. They’re made of a lightweight and durable injected EVA foam, are devoid of branding save for a simple debossed Three Stripe graphic on the footbed. Outsoles are made extra-thick, with deep V-shaped grooves for optimal traction, comfort and last. The ‘Onyx’ brings something a little different into play as well, with a new roughly textured look instead of the smooth finish seen on past Yeezy Slide colourways.

Look for the adidas Yeezy Slide’s ‘Onyx’ and ‘Pure’ colourways to return to adidas and Yeezy Supply on March 7. Full family size runs will be available in each colourway – adult pairs are priced at $60, grade school pairs at $45 and toddler pairs at $35.
