Former NBAer Andre Iguodala had his jersey retired by the Warriors on Sunday, with his No. 9 raised to the rafters after a win over the Mavericks “in honor of the player who started everything and who changed their world.” Iguodala’s is just the seventh jersey retired in franchise history. Fans “roared and chanted ‘Warrrrrrrriors’” as the jersey was raised, and “almost all the fans at the game stayed for the ceremony.” A video presentation “contained congratulatory messages from past Warriors” including Jordan Poole, Chris Paul, Harrison Barnes and Kevin Durant. In the on-court seating were an “array of faces from the Warriors dynasty,” including Mavs G Klay Thompson — “who came out of the Mavericks’ locker room for the event.” Thompson’s presence “was one of the reasons Iguodala thought Sunday was a good date to do the honors” (S.F.
